Milwaukee Bucks logo BUCKS READING CHALLENGE: Open to kids in grades 3-10. Get points for pages read and earn a voucher for a Bucks game. Pick up score sheets, materials, and a rules sheet from the check-out counter. The promotion ends February 28.

NEW BOOK CLUB: Wednesday, February 15 at 1 p.m. in the McBroom Community Room. Library Director, Heidi Cox, is kicking off a new book club here at the library. Stop by on Wed., Jan. 18th with your book ideas for the next meeting - no need to pre-register. The book to be reviewed is The House of the Seven Gables by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Meetings are on the third Wednesday of the month.

recycling binWAUKESHA COUNTRY RECYCLING: Tuesday, February 21 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the McBroom Community Room. Come and learn about recycling options in our county.

WISCONSIN HISTORY PROGRAM: Tuesday, February 21 at 6 p.m. in the McBroom Community Room. Historian, Ericka Janik, will present a program based on her book "A Short History of Wisconsin." She will cover several centuries of Wisconsin's remarkable past, showing how the state was shaped by the world wars, waves of new inhabitants, and upheavals in society and politics. Please register at the circulation desk.

2011 TAX FORMS: We have some federal tax forms but not any state tax forms yet. More forms may arrive soon. You may choose to download any that you need: federal forms - www.irs.gov or state forms - www.dor.state.wi.us. If you print them here at the library, they will cost $.10 per page.

ReferenceUSA REFERENCE USA DATABASE: InfoGroup is offering free online training on using the ReferenceUSA database. It is FREE and open to the public. Multiple sessions are being offered. Check the "Adult Programs" link under the "Events" tab for information.

LIBRARY E-NEWSLETTER: Would you like to receive up-to-date information about Library events and activities electronically? There is a new e-newsletter called Access Point, that has had its inaugural issue. Add your e-mail address to the list of those receiving the publication by submitting it to chris.slowinski@townhall.lib.wi.us   We will not give out or sell your information to anyone and you may opt out of the e-newsletter at any time.

OVERDUE NOTICES: Overdue notices are sent by e-mail when possible. Please return items as soon as possible; we have an outside book drop for your convenience. You may renew your items here on our website (click on "Catalog" in the top menu bar, then "My Cafe Account" in the drop-down menu, and then "My Account" in the top menu bar. Fill in your card number and birthday to access your account.) You may also call the library for renewal. If we do not have your e-mail address on file, please share it with us on your next visit.

PARKING: Available in our back lot. (Take Park Rd. & turn in to the drive east of the municipal garage. Continue past the tennis courts to our lot; overflow parking in the Town Hall lot.)
